Nice Places You Can Visit in Teluk Pakedai

This name, Teluk Pakedai may not familiar for many people in West Kalimantan. But, if you see the map of West Kalimantan you will find this small place.

It is a small place, but i'll make sure that you will find such a little heaven to pass your holiday. No matter with your family your spouse or boy and girlfriend you go with.
In this time, i'll give some places reference you have to  visit when you go to Teluk Pakedai.

1.  Kalambawang
      Kalambawang is the first place you have to visit when you're here. It is kind of hill which is there is a small waterfall at the top of this hill. To see the waterfall you have to climb the hill for 25-30 minutes if you're fast enough. It may spend longer than that if you're tired easily.

From Pontianak, we will spend 2-3 hours to arrive there. I suggest to not go there in rainy season,beacuse the access to this place is getting worse. It is because the muddy roads. To see the waterfall we need to pay about Rp.10.000. Rp.5000 for parking and Rp.5000 for cllim the hill. In the holiday season, the price of parking lot is getting expensive, it is about Rp.20.000-Rp.25.000.

 Besides this waterfall, along the trip we also can find good view to see or just to take a picture.

 2.     Batu Bendera

This place is not really far from Kalambawang. It is also kind of hill,but what makes it difference is there is no waterfall at the top of this hill. There is only good view from the top. Similar with Kalambawang, to go here you will spend about 2-3 hours from Pontianak, and you also have to climb the hill about 15-20 minutes. This hill is not to high. So, it is not really hard to climb it.

There is also a place to to fishing, or people there call balong. Not only fishing you can also ask the owner to cook the fish and the special thing about this place is the souce. It is really spicy and people there call it sambel jurig which is mean the souce of evil. For this menu you have to pay Rp.75.000-Rp.80.000 / kg fish, including the rice and the ice. It’s very good reference for you,and you have to try in your next holiday.

3.     Batu Masjid

A little bit different with both of  places that I have mentioned, you don’t need to climb if you wanna see this place. You only need about 2 hours to arrive here. Batu masjid is a place which is you can see so many tidy stones composed like mosque. That’s why people there call it batu masjid. You also don’t need to pay to see this place. It is free!!!
